Sashiko and Boro Denim Jacket

Handcrafted in the Sashiko and Boro style. Featuring a variety of hand sewn patches in tints and shades of blue, secured with Sashiko stitches and thread. Additional details consist of blanket stitch, French knots and yo yos on the back made of vintage ties. Crochet accents complete the jacket. The traditional Sashiko and Boro style has raw edges and was once used as a Japanese mending technique. Many hours of labor went into this one of a kind piece. Never worn. Pit to pit measurement is 21”. Back length is 22”. The denim jacket is very soft and stretchy. Size Large.
