Alice's Adventures in Wonderland Stories Old and New by Lewis Caroll green clothbound antique book, published by Blackie & Son's Ltd, London, Glasgow, Bombay, no date (the internet says circa 1920). A beautiful and scarce illustrated edition in colour by Frank Adams, featuring 4 full-page colour plates. 126 pages. The book is bound with its original decorated full cloth Art Nouveau binding featuring a colour illustration to the front cover. It is in good condition considering age. The outside of the book has no noticeable fading and the inside of the book shows that the glue in the spine is cracking , one of blank pages after the fly leaf at the front has come out, and a back flyleaf shows damage, all to be expected from a book this old. (see pictures) The text and illustrations are still bright and clear. This book is a rare find in any condition! This could have been my Mother's when she was a child or my parents found it as they were collecting antique books. The book measures 7"x5" in size.
