Silver & Glass Handcrafted Necklace La Dama Artisan Metalwork & Turquoise Skulls

I made this whimsical Mixed Media Necklace with a tiny vintage Mexican playing Deck “La Dama” card. It is encased in glass and a silver blend artisan metalwork and finished it with a piece of stained glass on the pendant. The skulls are from my personal collection. They were hand wrapped with sterling silver to create a collar illusion and the pink crystal spacer is her crown. I definitely had fun making this one and I hope you love it! The total length is of the chain is 26” with a 13” drop. The pendant measures 2” L x 1.25” wide. It closes with a lobster claw. **I use a Boho-Style Metalwork soldering technique to secure and encase my pieces. The material is made to stay forever shiny but can lose some of its sheen. It may be gently polished with a steel wool to replenish the sheen. *The material is a silver blend,96% Tin / 4% Silver. I design all my pieces by using mixed media art and incorporating mainly vintage and antique pieces to create something new from something old, hence, Disegno Antiguo Nuevo.
