Pair of GORHAM Pewter Octette Model Candlesticks Vintage Discontinued 1950's EUC

Pair of GORHAM Pewter Octette Model 7 in. Tall Candlesticks Vintage Discontinued 1950's EUC This "Octette" Model is a discontinued design from the mid-20th century. These candlesticks are made of pewter with a soft satin finish and features an octagonal base and top with a smooth, curved stem. They stand approximately 7 inches tall and have a base approximately 4 inches wide. (See photos) Each pewter candlestick weighs 1 LB 3.4 OZ and is solid pewter. (See photos) The pair is in excellent vintage condition. Gorham is a well-known American manufacturer of silverware and pewterware, and the "Octette" line is a collectible example of their pewter work. These candlesticks have the Gorham hallmark on the bottom, which includes the Federal Eagle and the words "Gorham Pewter PH8" encased in an oval. (See photos)
