This coat belonged to my Mother-in-law and has been stored in her guest room closet since the 1960s. According to her, it was purchased at Joseph R. Harris Co. Dept store in NW, Washington, DC in 1968 for appx $100. No size indicated on the tag. This is tiny. The 1968 size she recalls is an 8. I would say this is the equivalent of a size 2/4 in today's sizing. This coat does have a vintage smell. Price is firm. Measurements are as follows: appx 18 inches pit to pit sleeves- appx 22 inches from shoulder to cuff length- appx 48 inches shoulder to hem width at hem- appx 31 inches (flares from natural waist waist- appx 17-19 inches depending on where your waist falls.
