An Edwardian sash pin with a beetle/insect. It has a heavy pin stem and flat C catch on the back and measures 2.5" across. It is designed as a cast brass cut. Sitting in the center of this is a beetle that looks like a metallic wood boring beetle. It is anatomically correct with antenna, eyes,and feet. The beetles elytra are made from a molded green art glass or jade ?stone. The pin is in good condition; a little bent on one tip.
