Kaiser Aluminum & Chemical Corporation Identification Badge Mead WA Rare Green

Vintage green badge from Kaiser Aluminum & Chemical Corporation. Features a circular design with a central knob holding point. Numbered 6990 I have never seen another one that is green, that being said I am not saying they aren’t out there. Plant was opened in the 1940s to assist in the war, but was expanded in the 1950s into other areas of production. From my understanding is that the plant was in use until the 1970s and was officially closed in 2000. From there the site was deemed a Superfund site by the EPA. Super interesting manufacturing memorabilia from American history. Roughly the size of a silver dollar.
