NWOT Stainless Steel Earhooks Lampwork Glass Kiln-Annealed Annealing is one of the steps of firing glass. Kilns are programmed to slowly cool (anneal) glass to eliminate any stress after it is formed. Glass pieces may crack or shatter when subject to small temperature change or mechanical shock and annealing glass is critical to its durability. These are very expensive imported beads. Unfortunately, I paid 36.00 for them and with Posh taking 20%, I can't offer much of a discount. They are beautiful lampwork beads of extremely high quality.
