Thai temple rubbing featuring three horses. These rubbings were traditionally created by local artists in the 1960s, using charcoal or colored chalk on rice or mulberry paper, by rubbing the marble reliefs found inside famous Thai temples. The art of temple rubbing was eventually banned by the Thai government to preserve the original marble reliefs.
