Someone's forgotten memories. A random assortment of Navy patches from an estate sale. Includes 2 black on white sew-on patches, 2 white and red on black sew-on patches, 6 whiteon black U.S.S. Puget Sound sew-on patches, 6 black on blue iron-on patches, 2 white on black letter "E" sew-on squares, and 8 black on white letter "E" sew-on squares. The U.S.S. Puget Sound was commissioned on April 1968 and decommissioned on January 1996. Clearly the man who owed these items was a boilerman assigned to the ship. These items must have held value to him to have been so carefully removed from his uniforms and saved so many years.
