V. Mid Century White & Gold Metallic Beaded Necklace

This vintage necklace is a mid century beauty that has a c clasp closure made of a gold tone metal. The necklace is strung with spherical beads that are even in size and shape. The beads are white/off-white with a bit of a shiny lustre, and about 2/3 of them have a small splotchy gold metallic detail. There are also small gold tone disc beads that act as spacers between the white/offwhite and the golden metallic beads. The necklace has a nice weight to it and while I'm not sure what material the beads are made of, I feel confident eliminating glass and plastic as options. There is normal wear, but no issues affecting wearability. While it's not unheard of, it's worth mentioning: despite washing this piece well, it has a vintage "grandma's jewellery box" smell deep in its core. I like it, you may not!
