PATRICIA BONDS Gaetano The Collector Native American Doll w Papoose 16"
Patricia Bonds Gaetano was a self-taught American folk artist and designer known for creating highly collectible, handcrafted soft-sculptured dolls inspired by Native American culture and folk art traditions, particularly Seminole patchwork and beadwork. While born in Panama, she spent her early life in Virginia before moving to Colorado in 1977, where her work was influenced by the Southwest and its Indigenous people after a visit to Santa Fe, New Mexico. Her dolls often incorporate feathers, beads, fabrics, precious stones, and recycled materials, blending various folk art techniques.
Patricia Bond GAETANO designs about 16 inches tall about 13 1/2 inches wide she weighs 7.3 pounds one of her little bags pouches is empty. I’m not sure if it was originally like that very beautiful detail.
