Condition-Pre-owned. The soles and leather are in excellent condition with minimal wear. However, the entire soles have separated from the shoes and will need to be re-glued or reattached before wearing. A cobbler typically charges around $20–$50 for this type of repair. Priced accordingly.
Classic vintage Etienne Aigner loafers in a rich burgundy leather with tassel detail. Timeless slip-on style with durable rubber soles featuring the iconic Aigner horseshoe logo. A perfect pair for work, preppy looks, or everyday wear.
Condition: Good pre-owned condition. Minor scuffing and wear on uppers (see photos), but soles are in excellent shape with very little wear.

They look like they are detaching from the soles in the front. Are they? Do you think this would be an easy repair?

@coconut0194 Hi there! I just pulled them out to double-check, and you’re right, they are starting to separate slightly from the soles! It looks like a pretty easy fix with shoe glue or a cobbler. The soles and the leather is in excellent condition. I wanted to note that they are pulling away a bit, but I’d be happy to accept your offer if you’re still interested?

@coconut0194 thank you for noticing that! I should have examined them better.

Asked Chat GPT what the cost would be at a shoe repair store, this is the response.....A basic “re-glue” of the sole (just reattaching parts that have pulled up) is often fairly inexpensive something like $20 to $50 is a reasonable range.

@coconut0194 I messed around a little more with them and the whole back sole came became unattached 😮. They are vintage, pretty sure they are circa 1980's. It appears to me the previous owner may have done a repair in them. I would definitely suggest taking them to a cobbler. Im so thankful for you bringing that to my attention, I would have been mortified if I shipped those like that!

@cellifamily2010 absolutely no worries! It’s still a beautiful shoe. They don’t make loafers like Etienne did

@coconut0194 Thank you so much! These loafers truly are a classic, the craftsmanship and style caught my eye at an estate sale. Etienne’s quality is hard to find these days.
