Tried so hard to love these because the color is incredible (a cool dark forest green with oatmeal accents) but my feet hate them. There's no damage under the stuck-on heel pads, I just threw them in as a last attempt to make these work. Grip is excellent and these can 100% handle light to moderate hiking. Fit is on the snug side - I'm a solid women's 9 and these fit TTS with a narrow toebox and lower instep.
