The center stone is polished and smooth. Bezel set. The frame is beaded with gorgeous perfectly symmetrical sections. Marked as sterling on the posterior aspect, the bail and also the frame all tested positive for sterling silver. Moonstone's key properties include being a type of feldspar mineral with a potassium aluminum silicate chemical composition (KAlSi3O8 or (Na,K)AlSi3O8) and a Mohs hardness of 6–6.5, making it prone to scratches. It exhibits beautiful adularescence, a "moon-like" glow or sheen that moves across the stone's surface, and comes in colors like white, peach, gray, and blue.
