A stunning Laura Ashley dream dress from the 70s. Scoop neck LA dresses have a really relaxed and easy to wear vibe, with stunning sleeves, a super full skirt and waist ties to cinch. Dresses from this era of Laura Ashley were hand dyed. This dress has been dyed in a medium dark sage green (the pics of blue dresses are for styling/vibes/inspiration). Crocheted lace insets on bodice, crochet trim at neckline and cuffs. Puffed shoulders and long sleeves with elastic shirring above flared cuffs. Unlined. Closes with a metal back zip. 100% cotton, hand wash recommended. Excellent vintage condition! There is a pin sized rust spot on the crochet on the right side of the bodice (see the 5th photo). There is also wear to the zipper and some fraying at the edges of the crochet at the very back of the neckline (see the 7th & 8th photos). The elastic has stretch but is also over 50 years old and will need replacement eventually. No fading or stains (besides the rust spot on the crochet). Crochet is in excellent condition with exception of the small fray at the back of the neckline, which can be trimmed. A dress to treasure forever! Size: vintage UK 10/US 8.
