Mini Vintage Brass Pestel and Mortar, Wiccan, Herbs, Kitchen, Pharmacy

Simple brass mortar & pestle found at a Porto, Portugal market. Piece is solid and has green felt at bottom to protect your work surface. Traditionally used for pounding spices and herbs when cooking but with many more uses. Lovely simple line details make it unique. A fabulous piece of rustic, usable décor for any farmhouse or country kitchen. Will also make a great gift for a wiccan or a pharmacist. In great vintage condition; some minor wear from years of use, but with another century of use still in it! Mortar measures: 1 1/4" tall by 1 1/2" wide; Pestel measures 2 1/4" long Piece will be carefully packaged with recycled materials to ensure safe delivery.
