This is a Hat People brand women's sized hat in the People's Hat or Sports cap style. This style is similar to Greek fisherman's or Dutch boy hats. Their hats are made in Oregon, USA from natural fibers by artisan hat makers. I believe this one a cotton and or linen hat. Grayish/Black and white material with a black band. Good preowned condition. The black band in the front is slightly faded. I have a smaller women's head and this is just a tiny big on me. About 7 inches across where it fits your head. Hand washable. Company was started in 1978
