This 1980s vintage ring, size 5.5, features a prominent pear-cut purple amethyst gemstone. The amethyst is set in a polished sterling silver band, which boasts a distinctive, fluid design that gently cradles the stone. The silver band appears to wrap around the base of the amethyst, enhancing its vibrant hue and creating a statement piece with a classic yet bold aesthetic, characteristic of the era. This ring has been in my possession since it was new. I don’t think I ever wore it. It is in like new condition. A very pretty vintage piece. Size 5.5. Weight 4.6. 6mm Band.
