Hand Embroidered - Doily - Table Topper - Tulip Motif.

This beautiful, finely hand-embroidered doily/table topper was purchased at the same fine crafts boutique in Bucharest, Romania, in 2005 as the blue & white tablecloth. It has never been used, and as a result, it is also in pristine condition. It has been carefully stored in a smoke-free environment. The beautiful lavender tulip motifs are on an ecru cotton background; the last photo shows the coloring the best. The stylized tulip motifs are typical of Eastern European ethnic crafts. The stunning fretwork border makes this a true masterpiece of embroidery. It is approximately 17 x 17 inches square.
