The interior elastic has yellowed and is no longer stretchy (has little waves/ridges). Personally, I think it would be prettier and more comfortable without any stretchy elastic. You can wear as is, remove the elastic or replace with new elastic if desired. Washed on gentle with unscented detergent and air dried in smoke free, pet free home.
