Note: There were two releases of this pattern- both designed by Maija Isola - Suomi, Finland and both are rare collectibles. First release in 1969 and the other in 2007. Since there is no tag or markings, I cannot be 100% sure which release this one is, (price reflects uncertainty) but all research points to the 1969 release. It appears to be a table cloth, but is also referred to as a wall tapestry. It is a thicker, cotton material and pics shown are of both sides on king size bed. It has a few white dots, which seem to be because it was originally a white cloth and dyed with colors. It has a center sewn seam (see pic) and no rips tears.
The “Oona” pattern embodies the modernist and psychedelic influences of the late 1960s, with graphic, natural forms and a vibrant, contrasting color palette- greens, blues, blacks. It features a large-scale, repeating botanical print, depicting clusters of fruit/flowers in saturated, colorful hues.
