Antique C-Clasp Sterling Silver & Blown Glass Shell Turtle Brooch

This unique brooch features a c-clasp, commonly used from the 1850’s up to the early 1920’s. The turtle is made from sterling silver (tested) and has a green blown glass shell. It appears that someone added the red enamel eyes at a later point to add additional character, could easily be removed. Measures 1 1/2” x 1 1/4” and is in excellent condition for it’s age.
