1950s Travel Launderette Wonder Suds Blue Rhinestone Studded Gold Tone Compact

So elegant! (Or kitschy...) This nifty mid-20th century laundry travel kit fits in a lady's purse. Eight tiny plastic colorful clothespins (one broken*), a tiny plastic white clothesline with metal hooks, two tiny glass vials, one unopened packet of Trav Wonder Suds (Canaan Products, Inc. of Canaan, CT) - all packed in a vintage compact size gold tone metal case with six large deep blue rhinestones on the lid, which is etched with the word "Launderette". Original red cardboard gift box is included which has some scuffs and tape marks. The metal launderette case is in excellent vintage condition with only a few minor dark spots on the metal (see images). Latch and hinge are in good working order. (*Confession: it was me that broke the pink clothespin, testing them. So sorry - a reminder to be careful with old plastics. I took most of the photos before I broke it, broken piece is included.
