Vintage 9K Gold Plated Huggies Earrings With Deep Pink Ruby Stones

Vintage exotic huggie style hoop earrings. With prong set deep pink and clear stones. The pink stones tested as rubies, but I don't know enough to say anything about their origin (enhanced natural, or lab created). The clear ones are, most likely, crystals. Stamped with what looks like 9K. I think they are 9 karat gold plated because of some signs of wear exposing silver tone metal underneath.
