Antique Wooden Butter Churn with Dasher Primitive Farmhouse Off Grid Metal Bands

Hailing from a simpler era that many of us long for, this simple piece reminds one of a time when many families had their own milking cow, and made time to sit on the front porch with neighbors to share a glass of lemonade. Made of wood with metal bands, this piece has clear indications of use. Including the dasher (unusual) as well as the lid (often missing), there is indeed discoloration from years of use (or non-use, as the case may be!). The lid has a chip to it, and the end of the wooden pole has damage, all of which may be seen and noted in photos. Measures approximately 36” tall and 10.5” in diameter.
