It has one small little chip on the bottom rim of the lampshade. It would not be seen once sitting on the base. One side of the glass has spots in it. I have wiped the inside and outside, but the spots seem to be in the glass itself: however, it does not take away from the charm of the piece itself, and is not noticeable at all when lit up.
