recycledstitch @recycledstitch This clock chimes on the hour. It takes a battery in the back and in the bottom. The bottom batteries control the chime. I pride myself on being honest. Please let me know

syl81 @recycledstitch My deepest apologies to you. My eyesight even with glasses is not great. My daughter saw the other compartment and put batteries in it and it works. I am so sorry for my harsh words. The rating on this clock should be 6 stars not one. Please forgive me for being so stupid. I will try to change rating. The clock is so pretty even just to look at. I collect clocks and this is a beautiful addition to my collection. Again I am so embarrassed for being such a dope,

syl81 I take back my words on this clock. It works beautifully and I was just a dumb operator. The clock is gorgeous and worth more money than I paid. I apologized to seller for being so stupid. He deserves a 6 star rating.
