VINTAGE Noritake Hand Painted M-Mark Cake Plate / Serving Dish Blue Yellow Bird

This is a single-tier serving plate or cake plate from the prestigious Noritake company, made in Japan. ​This specific backstamp is the "M" in a wreath mark which was used by Noritake for a number of years. The plate is hand-painted with beautiful details, featuring a lovely repeating pattern of birds, flowers, and fruit with blue/teal quadrants. The center has a gorgeous iridescent or luster finish, and it's topped with a sleek black handle that is painted inside the same blue/teal colour that is on the plate. ​It's perfect for serving desserts, small sandwiches, pastries, or just displaying as an incredible piece of Art Deco or vintage Japan china decor. ​Condition: Excellent vintage condition.
