stephmae21 @davidmcknab Thank you. It is the whole shoe that is insulated. I added another inside sole photo so you can see the whole shaft connects to the bottom heel and continues on.

davidmcknab In other words, the toe box is insulated? I live in Duluth so warmth is a requirement. But so is wearability. Are they pretty stiff or does that soft inside leather keep them pretty pliable? Really appreciate you taking the time! Thanks.

stephmae21 @davidmcknab No problem at all. Yes the toe box would be insulated. Can't imagine they would insulate the whole boot and stop at the toe. Especially this brand and it being vintage they always have good quality. The boots seem pretty pliable. Don't believe they would take long to break in.
