Vintage Starburst Brooch or Pendant With Faceted Prong Set Faux Garnets Unmarked

This beautiful brooch/pendant from the 1950s/1960s features pear-shaped, faceted, prong-set faux garnets "bursting" from a central, prong-set, clear rhinestone, set in gold-tone metal. Great condition despite its age and the delicate metal surrounding the rhinestone. One of the starbursts is slightly bent, and there is some discoloration in the very center as well as the back of the brooch/pendant. There is a small bale next to the pin so that this piece can be strung on a chain (chain not included) if desired. This piece measures 1-3/4 inches diameter.
