Ladies vintage Belts by Simon (now b. b. Simon) genuine leather belt. Textured suede and flat leather with silvertone beaded edge trim silvertone round MCM Made in Italy buckle. Gently preowned with very minimal use. Measures about 35” end to end with belt holes spaced to fit a waist of about 26” - 28”. Founded by designer Simon Tavassoli in 1987, it began as a small operation called Belts by Simon in Los Angeles, where he crafted high-end belts and accessories inspired by European luxury brands. The business quickly expanded, and by the late 1980s, it rebranded to B.B. Simon, becoming famous for its handcrafted belts featuring Swarovski crystals, Italian leather, and bold Western-inspired designs. These belts gained popularity in hip-hop culture through endorsements by artists like Madonna, Michael Jackson, and modern stars such as Ice Spice and Post Malone.
