I think it's a touch longer than a mini style dress & with the ruffled double layer hemline it has a much more tea style appearance. It has a slightly smocked waist band to provide that hour glass shape. The short sleeves on this dress have a bit of ruchung down the center of the tops & faux tie bows at the openings. There is a gorgeous square neckline that is trimmed with a ruffle, that coupled with the cinched waist makes it look milk maid like or kind of a peasant style dress. The fabric is much like chiffon & has very lil stretch but the elasticy waist & overall flowiness makes this dress extremely comfortable to wear, even in very warm weather. I have this pretty lil teired white & light purple floral dress in size large & in my opinion it has a tiny bit of extra room for a size large. It's in EUC & shows no signs of wear.
