It has a seam 11" down from the top of the waistband, which adds a bit of interest to the style. It has an elastic tie at the waist, which is threaded through a narrow waistband and allows the wearer to tighten the waist a bit if needed, for a perfect fit. The body of the skirt is a soft, supple material and is fully lined. *I was surprised, when I checked the fabric content to create this lisiting, to discover that the back of the skirt is made from a different material than the front! (See "Fabric" above.) I can detect absolutely no diff- erence between the material making up the front of the skirt and that of the back; they look and feel exactly the same! But, that is what the tag said, so I am sharing it for the sake of accuracy.
