Vintage Set of 4 Pimpernel Fruit Botanical Plates Placemats made in England

A vintage set of four Pimpernel placemats made in England and from Harrod's showcasing exquisite botanical illustrations of fruits. Part of a collection created in collaboration with the Royal Horticultural Society, by artist W. Hooker. Each placemat features a detailed depiction of a different fruit variety, Alexander Apple, Nectarine Plum, Jargonelle Pear, Red Magdalene Peach. The illustrations are set against a cream background with a dark green border and a subtle gold trim.
