Vintage Mid Century Telco Cetamic Elf Figurine in Red and White made in Japan

The product is a vintage ceramic pixie elf figurine. These figurines were popular in the 1950s and 1960s, often made in Japan and imported to the United States. These figurines are typically made of ceramic or porcelain. They are often associated with Christmas or mid-century kitsch decor. Manufacturers like Enesco, Holt-Howard, Lefton, and Napco produced similar items. This is one of a set of 2 ( see my other listing). It’s very rare to find the set. This one is facing to the left. The one in the other listing is facing the right. Both of these Elves are painted in a cherry red with a faded look. There are a few scratches on the paint that is typical with items of their age. No chips or cracks that I can see with the exception of a few rough edges along the edge of the elf’s ear but only noticeable to the touch.
