Surrey Classics/Highland Queen-60’s Blue Suit Set with REVERSIBLE Pleated Skirt

Incredible set of matching Skirt and blazer in cobalt blue 100% wool. Both items are from different brands, each well-known at the time for their incredible quality, and they share the exact same color — a perfect match I simply couldn’t separate. The blazer is by Surrey Classics, a company active in the 1960s. It features a mauve acetate lining, a beautiful cut, and is in like-new condition with absolutely no signs of wear. The size is not indicated on the label, but based on measurements, it fits like a size Small (see measurements below). The skirt is by Highland Queens, made of 100% pure new wool and fully reversible, confirming it was produced between 1965 and 1971, the only period these skirts were manufactured. One side is cobalt blue with lighter greyish tones inside the pleats, while the reverse side is navy blue, again with lighter pleat interiors (see video). The skirt also has no size label; the waist measures 24 inches, which corresponds to a size 24.
