Large, Vintage, American Quilt Design Sun Catcher by Heirlooms of North Carolina

Here is a fantastic, large, glass sun catcher with an Americana quilt design…all hand crafted in red, white, and blue glass. The blue strips have a watery-like finish on the front and smooth on the back. The red strips have a rippled-like finish on the front and smooth on the back. The plaid glass has a bumpy feel. The trim and chain hanger have a silver finish. This vintage sun catcher is crafted by Glassical Heirlooms of North Carolina. This quilt design sun catcher is in perfect condition. When the sun comes through, it just sparkles! Size, 8 inches x 8 inches, not including chain. The sun catcher has inserts of a special red, white, and blue plaid glass called "Job Glass", invented by noted glass maker Bill Job when he made hot glass into stringers. After cooling, the stringers were placed into a plaid pattern and then fused together to form one sheet of glass. From this sheet, plaid pieces are cut for the sun catchers. Add a touch of Americana and sparkles of light to a favorite room. From a smoke-free home.
