Vintage 80s sweater from the brand Alan Paine of Godalming. Made in England. 100% Shetland wool. Stripes are a medium-tone gray, and navy blue (I think? in some lighting it looks black), with a thin cream-yellow stripe in between. Has navy elbow patches. Sweater is in relatively OK condition-- it does have some spots in the knit that look weak-- not exactly holes and not exactly full snags (see third-to-last pic). Then there are a few actual small holes on the back (see second-to-last pic) and two on the sleeve (see final pic). These could be easily mended, by the right person, and may even be discrete enough to wear without mending. Vintage size 42, well suite a modern Medium or Large depending on measurements.
