Bolesławiec pottery, also known as Polish pottery. This traditional style of ceramic originates from the town of Bolesławiec in south-western Poland.
The pottery is crafted from white clay found only in the Bolesławiec region and is known for its durability and versatility; it is safe for use in the dishwasher, microwave, freezer, and oven.
The designs are hand-painted using a stamping technique, often featuring the characteristic indigo blue "peacock eye" motif and other patterns on a white background.
The "peacock eye" design, visible in the center and around the rim of the plate, is said to symbolize prosperity, good luck, and protection.
