Vintage 1940s Negligee, Gorgeous! For Kitty Rescue!!

This beautiful vintage negligee has a lace trimmed bodice with scalloped edges, and ruched sleeves. The lace waist has 5 buttons, loop closure, and it's open from the down. It's a delicate, sheer, peach color with off-white lace. It ties in back, but once you tie it, you can leave it that way, because it buttons in front. I'm guessing size Small, no size in it. Armpit to armpit 17" Waist side to side 13" Length from shoulder 53" Fits my size 6 mannequin well. The sad part is, the lace covered buttons have metal backs, and over time, they rusted. I worked on it with lemon juice, and I lightened it up a LOT, but it's not perfect. It might be ok with the buttons a shade darker, but if not, buyer might want to find some buttons to replace them... maybe not lace covered buttons, but a lot of things would work! Otherwise, it has 3 small holes down towards the hem, they are minor and not that noticeable. It had the typical vintage odor, but I worked on this too, so it is very faint now, probably only noticeable if wet. This is a really special vintage piece, rare and beautiful!
