These came originally as a DIY kit where you 1. place metal outline frame 2. fill compartments with colored baking crystals 3. Heat to melt crystals into "glass" Which is why these ornaments have a translucent enamel look and tiny air bubbles. These kits were popular in the late 1980's -mid 1990's and were produced in Taiwan. These ornaments have been used but are in good condition with vibrant colors still intact and loops are intact.
