1975 Masonic Order of the Eastern Star OES Columbia 488 Coffee Mug Demitasse

The Order of the Eastern Star was established in 1850 and is a Masonic organization open to both men and women. According to their mission, the members of OES reflect the spirit of fraternal love and the desire to work together for good. The organization still exists to this day. This 1975 commemorative coffee mug or demitasse is from the Columbia Chapter of the order. It is dedicated to member Mildred Stapp, who was the secretary at that time. It measures approximately 3 3/4 inches tall and is 2 1/4 inches in diameter at the rim. The maker's initials, possibly an F.B. are on the bottom. Some crazing but in overall excellent condition.
