mschuetze01 ***??? for the Group*** I've been doing some sharing tests again tonight. My sales have completely tanked. Shares are down. Likes are down.... My wife and I tested our closets out and found that the shared items weren't showing for our Coach items. I then shared out a less common camera and found it buried under promoted closet items, same for our Coach items. So, while our items do get shared, they're most likely not being seen nearly as much.Thoughts going forward with sharing?

23rd_n_vine I hear y'all. I'm unsure of sharing's advantage, too, but I do it since I've ditched Promoted closet. Strangely it seems to matter if you share your own closet! And it used to be easier to get 'followers' even reciprocal ones. What I did was open an account with etsy and had relative success in the 2 months so far. Big investment in time for etsy esp. Posh is easier. a little slower, but I upped my prices so I have fewer but higher end sales for the effort. Thanks for sharing. This is vital. 🦉

myposhpunky I just told them whatever they did was a giant failure and they need to go back and change it that everyone’s complaining . The very point of the platform with the infrastructure of sharing for whatever reason has been completely shattered . They take 20% from us if we’re not selling stuff where are they going get it from? I said F minus sorry but just saying. 😂😂

tygenkina Hi there! I am speaking from my experience. I am not sure the reason, but sometimes I get a lot of followers, and after a week or two, they disappear. Every time I add a new listing, I get more followers, and automatically my closet gets more attention. I feel like it comes and goes.

lenoregarnhum I think sharing is helping as far as Posh wanting our closet to be active.. sharing, following, listing, relisting, share to parties, sending offers, responding to customers & shipping quickly…most of us are already doing these things. I just think we can share less now because it’s a combination of those actions (not just sharing) that affect our visibility & algorithm.

lenoregarnhum Through sharing, we’re making connections.. I’ve purchased from a lot of friends I share in groups I share with & many have bought from me. That’s another way share groups are beneficial. Personally, I’m still running my daily share group and signing up for 2or 3 more, but much less sharing than I normally do & freeing up more time for taking pics & listing. I hope these changes end up working in our favor!
