This charming CHURCHILL BLUE WILLOW covered bowl is a classic example of English transferware pottery. Made in England and marked with the impressed “CHURCHILL ENGLAND” stamp, this style of marking was primarily used from the late 1980s through the early 2000s, placing this piece at approximately 25–40 years old. It features the traditional and highly collectible Blue Willow pattern—originally created in the late 1700s—including its iconic pagodas, bridges, foliage, and graceful flying birds. The rich cobalt detailing and clean glaze make it a beautiful display piece, yet it’s also fully functional for everyday use. The bowl includes its matching lid with a rounded finial, and both pieces are in excellent condition with crisp pattern work. Perfect for collectors of English transferware, blue-and-white décor lovers, or anyone who appreciates timeless pottery craftsmanship.
