This pocket watch does not run! It has all its parts, including the plastic face cover, however, it does not stay on. There is a small indentation on the backside. The crown still turns! Vintage Elgin gold filled pocket, 12S 1922 Jewels. This is likely from the mid 1920s. 1101708766025S

turtlewhisperer @j_tapia99 Ok, I have it in my hand, and I don't see where it comes apart to see the inside. I don't see a little area to snap it open. Is there a trick to it? I don't want to ruin it by messing with it.

j_tapia99 Hi, not sure why I did not get your message. Just seeing it now, the back should screw off turn it counter clockwise. Try to be carefull to not damage the hands on the front as you attempt as the front cover does not stay on to protect them as you remove the back

turtlewhisperer @j_tapia99 OMGosh, I'm sorry. I see it now. I was playing nurse. My husband had a procedure done 3 weeks ago and his incision busted open a few days ago.
