Crossbody strap is not detachable, but you can tuck it in the bag if you prefer to carry as a tote or shoulder bag. Purse shows signs of wear on crossbody strap and has some loose threads. There is a stain on the interior that could likely be cleaned, I just have not gone through the effort to do so. There are minor marks here and there on the patent leather.
