Edwardian or late Victorian antique silk taffeta and lace cape ~~I have a big fluffy white cat, I do my best to keep her fur off the items I sell and she does her best to thwart me~~ Crafted from sheer netting, ornate passementerie trim, this cape has wonderful decorative details including tassels, fabric-covered buttons, and rows of intricate trim Fabric has faded to brown- being offered for display, or study, I do not advise wearing due to the delicate nature of the item Condition • Very good antique condition, with age-appropriate wear • Some minor tears in the netting, a few loose threads • Discoloration consistent with age (see photos) • Structurally intact These Victorian and Edwardian items that I sell are more than 100 years old and are being offered as pieces for display, or study.
