ANTIQUE Gold tone metal grey rhinestone crescent moon chain brooch ~ Vintage pin

This strikingly gorgeous, generously sized early 20th-century double brooch features gold or brass toned metal into which numerous grey glass rhinestones are set on each of the crescent moon shapes (which also, IMO, resemble horseshoes). These two semicircle pieces are connected by a matching gold/brass toned oval link chain. Both halves of the brooch do up with early-style safety clasps. This elegant double-sided brooch (which can also be used as a sweater guard/clip) dates to c. 1910s - 1930s, and looks as at home in the 21st-century fashion world as it did a hundred years ago. 🌙🩶😍 📦 All items are lovingly packaged and shipped out quickly (same - two day shipping) from a dog-friendly home that is free of smoke and cat hair. 📏 Approximate measurements: Total brooch length, when the connector chains are fully extended, is about 10 inches / 25.4 cm long. The larger of the two crescent moon shapes = just under 5 inches / 12.7 cm in both length and width. ⚖️ Approximate weight: 24 grams / 0.84 ounces 💗 Item condition: Good to very good gently used antique/vintage condition. Some of the rhinestones are a little darker grey than the others. They might have been this way from the get-go, or they may have darkened with age. Some general surface wear/darkening of the gold/brass toned metal.
