The base has a personalized brass plaque dated 1988 that reads "Mom Merry X-mas Love Paul." The plaque is original to the piece but could be removed if desired. Lamp operates with a standard bulb and the switch works properly. The green glass shade is in good condition with no cracks or chips. Brass components show some light surface wear consistent with age. Pens show use and may need new ink refills. Measures approximately 12" tall and 13" wide. Tested and working.
